I have been using Ark Animal Hospital for about 27 years! They have been our vet for a number of pets, both dogs and cats. They have also taken several wild creatures into their Noah program for us.They are always caring and compassionate; always professional. I have had to wait at times, but never for an emergency. In an emergency situation they are right there---offering immediate help. All of the vets are top notch and the staff is polite and friendly. I would highly recommend The Ark for new residents and to visitors to our area.
I'm so thankful for the services from the animal hospital for my dog. The veterinary's were very caring for not only for my dog but for myself as well. They also worked with me on payment arrangements due to the fact that I'm on a limited income. I highly recommend Ark Animal Hospital for veterinary services.
If you get the right vet and can make an appointment, you're good. I had an incredible vet that was with me and my cat when I found out her many illnesses, gave the proper meds and was kind all the way to the end. I would suggest these expand or stop taking in any more customers, wait times are long if you're a "fit in" people with dogs ALWAYS sit in the cat section (can't blame the people, but the staff should say something, as cats are usually afraid of dogs) More vets needed, more room needed as well. The dogs need to be separated from the cats.
As far as I know, their Noah Program is the only one of it's kind in the area. They offer assistance to injured strays and rescued wild animals.
We took our 14 1/2 years old dog, Cody, to Ark while staying at Lakewood Campground. He had fallen the day before. Dr. Kelley was thorough, and very kind. Sadly the next day he developed severe weakness and breathing problems. We took him back at closing on a Sunday afternoon. The staff and Dr. Wimpee tried hard to help him, but a chest x-ray showed widespread lung cancer that was bleeding into his chest. He was struggling, so there was no option but to put him down. The entire staff and Dr. Wimmer were so caring and supportive. They were kind and caring to Cody on both visits. I would recommend them highly.
Our family has been using the Ark for our pets for 13 years. The staff are great and Dr. Jansky is amazing and very down to earth! Everyone there is kind and knowledgeable. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
