STAY FAR AWAY FROM SOUTH STATE BANK!! This is the 4th time; 2nd time in a month, that my money has "disappeared" from my account after midnight in the past year. Each time I go to the bank they say it's because they didn't scan my check through the second time at the end of the night. They need tellers to learn to do their jobs!! How can someone go a weekend without any money and without any 24/7 banking number to call?!!!!!!!!!! Ever since south state bought out first federal in South Carolina, I have had nothing but problems! I am now actively looking for a new bank!!
